Biography

Antonio Raviele is President and Contact of the Venice Arrhythmias Scientific Secretariat - the renowned congress of arrhythmology he created in 1989.

Between 2008 and 2011 he was Director of the Cardiovascular Department of the Angelo dell'Angelo Hospital. Following his retirement, he practices cardiologist and arrhythmologist at his private practice in Mestre. He was the author of the first transvenous defibrillator implant in Italy.

President of ALFA – Aliance to Fight Atrial fibrillation – and President of the Scientific Committee of FIGHT AF! the awareness campaign against atrial fibrillation that debuted in 2011 – to a highly gratifying success.
