Biography

Professor David Hare is a graduate of the University of Melbourne, subsequently undertaking post-graduate studies at the University of Melbourne and at Guy’s Hospital in London. He has been the Coordinator of the Cardiovascular Research Domain for the University of Melbourne and was the recipient of the 2011 Distinguished Scientist Medal of the Austin Research Foundation.

Clinically, he works as a Senior Cardiologist at Austin Health where he practices in General Cardiology and is Director of Heart Failure Services. He is the Director of Research in the Department of Cardiology and is currently also the Research Integrity Advisor for Austin Health in Melbourne, Australia
