Biography

Professor Gorog is a Consultant Cardiologist. She is a Visiting Professor at Imperial College, London and Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Hertfordshire. 

Having qualified at St Bartholomew’s, London, she undertook her cardiology training at the Hammersmith, Royal Brompton, Royal Free, St Thomas’ and St Mary’s Hospitals. She sees patients with all types of heart disease, including angina, hypertension, arrhythmias, heart failure and valvular heart disease. She undertakes coronary angiography and angioplasty, including complex coronary intervention. She is actively engaged in research, with a special interest in thrombosis and coronary angioplasty, preventing heart attacks in at-risk patients.
