Biography

Dr Maurizio Volterrani is Head of the Cardiological Rehabilitation Unit and of the Department of Motor and International Sciences at IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana in Rome.

Dr Maurizio Volterrani is chairman, co-chairman and member of the Steering Committee of numerous International and National Studies. He is member of the Italian Cardiac Rehabilitation Group, Volterrani and also a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, of the National Association of Hospital Cardiologists and of the American College of Chest Physicians.

He is referee of the European Journal of Cardiology, the International Journal of Cardiology and the European Journal of Heart Failure. Chairman of the Telecardiology and Computer Study Group of the Italian Society of Cardiology, he is also National coordinator of the Rehabilitation Group of the SICOA Company.
