Professor Christopher Cannon, Harvard Medical School, US
Christopher Cannon is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and senior physician in the Cardiovascular Division at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He earned his MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York and completed an internal medicine residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, and a cardiovascular fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr Cannon has published over 1,000 original articles and reviews in the field of acute coronary syndromes and prevention and has authored or edited 20 books.
Professor Georg Nickenig, Medical Clinic and PolyClinic II, University of Bonn, Germany
Georg Nickenig is a Full Professor and Chair, Department of Internal Medicine and Polyclinic II, University Hospital Bonn, Germany. He completed his doctoral degree in Clinical Medicine from the University of Bonn. Professor Nickenig has been awarded numerous honours including the Albert Fraenkel Prize of the German Society of Cardiology, and the Theodor Frerichs Award of the German Society of Internal Medicine. He has authored many articles and book publications. He also serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for a number of leading journals.
