Biography

Dr Conti is a professor emeritus of medicine and served on the cardiology faculty at Johns Hopkins from 1968 through 1974 as Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and was Associate Professor of Medicine. In 1974, he became Professor of Medicine and Director of the Cardiovascular Division at the University of Florida until 1998.

He currently serves as Editorial Board member for American Journal of Cardiology, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, European Heart Journal and many others. He is author/co-author of more than 700 scientific papers, book chapters and abstracts, and has edited six books and written two.
