Biography

Dr Sree Kondapally is an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in England. He completed his cardiology training in London, including sub-specialty training in PCI. He also holds research degrees from the University of Cambridge, and his academic work centres around cardiovascular epidemiology.

Dr Kondapally has won a number of prizes and honours including: distinctions in biochemistry and microbiology and the gold medal for overall top mark at his medical school; best junior doctor award for all-round academic performance during post-graduate training in general medicine; and top mark for his MPhil thesis at Cambridge. His comprehensive research on the vascular and non-vascular outcomes of diabetes, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, was voted amongst the top 2% of the articles in biology and medicine by the Faculty of 1000.
